SSO Women in Cancer Surgery (WICS) Leadership Summit (Ticketed Event)
Wednesday, March 20, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
The Women in Cancer Surgery Leadership Summit will be led by Susan Lucia Annunzio, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Center for High Performance and Executive Education Faculty, University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Lucia interviewed SSO members to customize the content to specifically meet the needs of female cancer surgeons. Some of the topics to be covered include:

• State of the current workforce
• Environments that drive high-performance
• The killers of high-performance and how to avoid them
• The power of vulnerability
• Empathy and how it is not optional
• Telling bad news and tackling tough conversations and more….

SSO Women in Cancer Surgery (WICS) Sunrise Walk
Thursday, March 21, 6:00 - 7:00 AM
Join us for a 30 minute walk to start the day. The WICS Sunrise Walk will begin and end at the Signia Hotel. Coffee and water will be available after the walk to all participants. Included with full registration.

Resident Meet & Greet with Breast Fellowship Programs

This is the first of two Resident Meet & Greet events at SSO 2024 in Atlanta, GA. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the SSO Breast fellowship programs and meet the program directors. Included with full registration.

Surgical Oncology Bowl

Second Annual SSO Surgonc Bowl! Four teams will compete in this friendly competition of tenacity and know-how. This year's team captains will be Hong Jin Kim, MD, Maria Russell, MD, Judy Boughey, MD, and Mediget Teshome, MD, MPH, FACS. Melissa Hogg, MD, FSSO, will be the event emcee.
