Mihir M. Shah, MD is an Associate Professor of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. As a board certified surgical oncologist, Dr. Shah specializes in complex laparoscopic and robotic surgery for the treatment of cancer of the liver, pancreas, biliary tree, and gastroesophageal systems.
Dr. Shah serves on the editorial boards for the Journal of Surgical Oncology. He is the local PI for several national clinical trials, including NCTN trials. His research focuses on improving outcomes of patients undergoing upper GI and HPB surgery, with a special interest in translational research and clinical trials.
