Dr. Lewis completed her medical school training at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She also completed her PhD in cancer biology while at Morehouse School of Medicine. She continued her time at Morehouse and Grady Memorial Hospital and completed her general surgery training in 2015. She is board-certified in general surgery. She is currently completing research in peritoneal surface malignancies.
