My name is Naaz Nasar, and I am currently a 2nd year research fellow in the Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) Surgery department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I began this research fellowship after completion of my PGY-3 year of General Surgery residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. My research interests include basic and translational sciences. After residency, I plan to pursue a career in Surgical Oncology and Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery as well as continue my research efforts as a surgoen scientist.
