Allison Martin is originally from Kentucky and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Louisville. She received her MD from Vanderbilt and her MPH at the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed general surgery residency at the University of Virginia, followed by surgical oncology and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery fellowships at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is committed to improving access to care for underserved populations. She is a health services researcher with interest in implementation science as it relates to health disparities in hepatopancreatobiliary malignancies and surgical quality improvement.
