General Surgery Resident

After completing my Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with an honors degree from King Abdulaziz University, I worked as a teaching assistant for two years. In 2021, I started my journy on a General Surgery Residency at the University of British Columbia. My research interests are centered on surgical oncology, particularly focusing on colon and peritoneal malignancy. Additionally, I am deeply involved in surgical innovation, currently I am furthering my passion by pursuing a master's degree in surgical innovation at the University of British Columbia, my current work involves developing surgical simulations for low- and middle-income countries and designing devices to enhance the ergonomics for surgeons.
