Dr. Visser completed medical school and his general surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He completed his fellowship training in Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery at the University of Edinburgh. Dr. Visser is the Medical Director of the GI Cancer Care Program at the Stanford Cancer Center and the Program Director of the Stanford HPB Fellowship program.
