Giacomo C. Waller, MD, is a surgical oncology fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed medical education at Emory University School of Medicine and trained in General Surgery at Emory's General Surgery residency and Loyola University Medical Center's General Surgery residency. Dr. Waller's research in the past has covered utility of neoadjuvant therapy for early-stage gastric cancers, technical improvements in transgenic natural killer cell therapies, and the use of activity trackers in routine postoperative care, for which he has been awarded grants and been selected for a research fellowship at the NIH.
