Dr. Jennifer Chen is a General Surgery Resident at Baylor College of Medicine and completed her MD at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is currently in her dedicated research time where she is completing a NIH T32 Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center under the guidance of mentors Dr. Anthony Lucci and Dr. Wendy Woodward. Her research interests include utilization of liquid biopsy as a prognostic and predictive marker for patients with invasive and inflammatory breast cancer as well as melanoma, characterization of minoritized groups within inflammatory breast cancer (racial disparity, pregnancy-associated), and surgical education research (resident selection/assessment, program culture).
