Angelena Crown is a board-certified breast surgical oncologist at the True Family Women's Cancer Center at Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, WA. She received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she was awarded a Dean's Scholarship and was named a Walter Lewis Croll Scholar. She completed her general surgery residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA where she was served as administrative chief resident. She then completed her breast surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her current research focuses on identification of appropriate patients for surgical deescalation, health care access and disparities, pregnancy-associated breast cancer, oncofertility, and surgical decision-making and recurrence after neoadjuvant systemic therapy.
