Jane (Jaeyun) Wang, M.D. is a general surgery resident at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University where she majored in Neurobiology, after which she went to medical school at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha upon graduation. Dr. Wang has been involved in clinical research in surgical oncology since 2015. Most recently, she has become interested in using artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve the detection of vascular involvement for patients with pancreas cancer using preoperative CT scans. She plans to pursue a fellowship in Surgical Oncology.
