Asmita Chopra, MBBS, MD, is a General Surgery resident (PGY4 Research), currently doing research in the division of surgical oncology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA. She has completed her medical school and general surgery residency from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, India. She aims to continue her surgical training with a fellowship in Surgical Oncology. Her research interests are in pancreatobiliary and colorectal malignancies.
