Alexandra Hernandez is a fourth year General Surgery resident at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System in Miami, FL. She recieved her MD/MPH at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is currently in her second year of research as a NIH T32-funded postdoctoral scholar in surgical oncology with her PI Dr. Neha Goel. Her research focuses on social determinants of healh and their influence on tumor biology and outcomes in breast cancer.
