Muhammad Musaab Munir is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Surgical Oncology, currently affiliated with the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and an incoming PGY1 surgical resident at UT Southwestern. He graduated with honors and obtained his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the Aga Khan University. He was awarded with the Best Graduate Award for his class. Musaab's passion for academics is reflected in his diverse research interests, which include surgical oncology, surgical disparities, healthcare quality, operative outcomes, and value-based healthcare. He is a trainee member of both the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Academic Surgery. Despite being a foreign medical graduate, Musaab is committed to pursuing a career in academic surgery.
