Dr Eyal Mor is a Surgical Oncology Research Fellow, that have completed his clinic training in Melanoma and Sarcoma at the Department of Surgery in Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
Dr Mor completed his Medical Doctor degree at the Alma Mater Studiorum - UniversitĂ di Bologna. Upon graduation, he returned to Israel to start his General Surgery training at the Department of General and Oncological Surgery at Sheba Medical Centre, one of the world's top hospitals in the last five years. During his training, he played a significant role in establishing the Peritoneal Malignancies Organoids project in the Surgical Oncology lab at Sheba.
After completing his training, Dr Mor joined the surgical oncology unit at Sheba as an Attending Surgeon. His primary interests include the surgical and oncological management of both Soft Tissue Sarcomas and Melanoma.
Additionally, Dr Mor is actively involved in ongoing projects at the center of innovation (ARC) in Sheba that focus on the use of innovative technologies such as Augmented Reality and 3D modelling. These projects aim to improve surgical planning and ultimately enhance patients’ outcomes.
