Candice Sauder, M.D., M.Ed., M.S. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Sauder joined UC Davis Health following the completion of her residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and fellowship at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She is the first fellowship trained breast surgeon employed by UC Davis Health, providing comprehensive breast cancer care for many women in Northern California. Much of her research looks at the secondary effects of breast cancer treatment in adolescent and young adult women. Additionally, she has a strong passion and background in teaching which is demonstrated by her appointment as an Assistant Program Director for the General Surgery Residency, being the Director of Surgery 4th Year Clerkship, and as an Academic Coach to 1st and 2nd years medical students.
