Jessica Cintolo-Gonzalez completed her general surgery training at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also engaged in researching preclinical models of a dendritic-cell based vaccine to target BRAF mutant melanoma with Dr. Brian Czerniecki. She completed her surgical oncology training at the combined Partners Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute. There she worked with Dr. Genevieve Boland studying circulating tumor markers and predictive signatures of response to immunotherapy in melanoma. She is currently an assistant professor of surgery at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. Her clinical practice includes melanoma, sarcoma, breast cancer, endocrine surgery, and peritoneal surface malignancy. Her research focuses on cancer surveillance strategies, circulating tumor markers, locoregional cancer control, and optimizing cancer care in the rural environment.
