Dr. Lior Orbach, currently serving as an attending surgeon at Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, is a dedicated professional invested in the realms of surgical oncology and acute care surgery. He Graduated with honors from Tel Aviv University's Faculty of Medicine in 2016 while participating in the “Adi Lautman program for outstanding students".
Dr. Orbach proceeded to complete a rotating internship in 2017, followed by a general surgery residency spanning from 2018 to 2024, all within the confines of Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Throughout his training, Dr. Orbach honed his skills while tending to a diverse array of surgical cases, with a particular focus on surgical oncology. Simultaneously, he embarked on a journey as a physician-researcher, delving into both clinical and fundamental scientific investigations. His research endeavors, conducted in collaboration with esteemed hospital and university laboratories, are centered on pioneering novel combination immunotherapy approaches targeted at gastrointestinal malignancies.
