Dr. Alicia Gingrich attended college at Johns Hopkins University where she majored in Cellular and Molecular Biology on an ROTC scholarship. Following this, she served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division with two combat tours to Iraq. She then attended University of Kansas for medical school and matched to University of California, Davis for general surgery residency. While at UC Davis, she completed a Masters degree in Integrative Genetics and Genomics. She is currently a Complex General Surgical Oncology fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
