Anna Bianchi graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Brescia (Italy), where she earned her Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology. She then moved to the United States and completed 2-years as a Postgraduate Research Associate at Yale University, in the laboratory of Dr. Alessandro Santin, in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences.
She is now a Ph.D. student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine FL, where she is currently working in the laboratory of Dr. Nipun Merchant and Dr. Jashodeep Datta in the Department of Surgery, with the goal of dissecting the tumor-stroma-immune crosstalk responsible for the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in Pancreatic Cancer.
