Jesse Passman is a PGY-5 resident in General Surgery at Penn. He graduated from Rice University with a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He subsequently received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. During medical school, he obtained Master in Public Health at Penn. Dr. Passman is currently in his research years of residency, during which time he is pursuing a Master of Science in Health Policy Research and performing research on health-system level interventions to improve equity in screening and definitive treatment for endocrine diseases such as primary aldosteronism. He intends to subspecialize in surgical oncology after residency.
