Dr. Sara Ginzberg is a clinical 4th year resident in General Surgery at Penn. She was born and raised in the Philadelphia area and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where she majored in Ecology & Evolution. She subsequently received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies.
During her two years of dedicated research time, Sara completed the Master of Science in Health Policy Research at Penn, with a concentration in Healthcare Quality and Safety. She is interested in optimizing the delivery of cancer care, with a particular focus on implementing systems-level changes to enable better access to screening and treatment for patients from historically marginalized groups.
