Dr. Jennifer Eads is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Abramson Cancer Center. She is internationally known for her clinical expertise in patients with gastroesophageal cancers and neuroendocrine tumors as well as for her clinical research conduct, also for patients with these disease entities. At Penn, she serves as the Physician Lead for GI clinical research, overseeing the GI clinical trials portfolio and also is the Director of the Penn Neuroendocrine Tumor Program. She is an active participant in the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) and has been the national study chair for multiple ECOG clinical trials in esophageal cancer and neuroendocrine neoplasms. For this work, she recently was awarded the 2022 ECOG Young Investigator of the Year Award. She has served on the Board of Directors for the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) and is currently on the Board of Scientific Advisors for the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NET RF).
