Surgical Oncologist/ Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery
LSU/ Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center
I am a board-certified surgical oncologist, I have completed my General Surgery training at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and I continued my training there for a dual fellowship in Complex Surgical Oncology and advanced Hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. My passion is caring for cancer patients of all types, with special focus on pancreatic cancer and precursors of pancreatic cancers (IPMN). I perform robotic pancreas surgery, including the robotic Whipple procedure. I also have special interest in Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC) for peritoneal surface malignancies. I enjoy teaching the LSU residents and medical students in my practice at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA.
