Chandler S Cortina, MD, MS, FSSO, FACS is a Breast Surgical Oncologist, Assistant Professor, and Chief of the Surgical Oncology Breast Teaching Service at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed undergraduate work at Louisiana State University, medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, a General Surgery Residency at Rush University Medical Center & Cook County Hospital followed by a Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship at the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center at Northwestern University in Chicago. He has a Masters Degree in Clinical and Translational Research. He is an active health sesrvices researcher currently funded through an NCI K08 award, PCORI, Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin, and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeastern Wisconsin. His reseach foucses on on assessing breast cancer risk, screening, and managmenet in transgender and gender-diverse populations.
