Surgical Oncology Fellow
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
I am currently a second-year surgical oncology fellow and the chief fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Prior to this, I received my undergraduate degree in Molecular Cellular Biology from Harvard College and medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. I completed general surgery residency training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill-Cornell and served as the administrative chief resident. During residency, I spent two years doing molecular and immunology research under the mentorship of Dr. Ronald DeMatteo at the University of Pennsylvania studying the most common human sarcoma, Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor or GIST.
