University of Rochester
I am a general surgery resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center currently working as a research fellow in the Center for Tumor Immunology. I recieved my medical school degree from West Virginia University and have completed my second year of surgical residency. My career interests include surgical oncology and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. I am currently focusing on basic science and translational research in pre-clinical models of cholangiocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma. My specific focus is on the interaction between these malignancies and the tumor microenvironment to develop novel therapeutic approaches to patient care.
