Julia Purchla, MD is a General Surgery Resident at Northwell Health/NSLIJ and a NIH T32 research fellow at the Johns Hopkins Hospital currently working with the multidisciplinary hepatopancreatobiliary lab group. She is currently studying novel immunotherapy combination treatments for pancreatic adenocarcinoma using an orthotopic murine model. Her interests include translational basic science and clinical outcomes research in the realms of pancreatic cancer and immunotherapy.
