Dr. Alexandre Brind'Amour is a native of Quebec, Canada. After receiving his MD degree at Laval University - Quebec City, he stayed at Laval for his residency training in general surgery. He then completed specialized fellowship training in peritoneal surface oncology at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital in Montreal, as part of the European School of Peritoneal Surface Oncology programme. He is currently completing a specialized fellowship training in Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and liver transplant surgery at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Brind'Amour is board certified in general surgery by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Upon completion of his fellowship training, his principle practice will be at the CHU de Québec in Quebec City, and his main areas of expertise will be peritoneal surface oncology and HPB oncology.
