I am a ECFMG ceritied phyisian from Russia currently working as a researcher in the United States.
I earned my general medical degree at Saint Petersburg State University, Faculty of Medicine in 2018, followed by a residency at Saint Petersburg Pediatric Medical University (Department of Oncology and Radiology). I also completed 2-year postgraduate US-Russian educational program 'Higher school of oncology' with 5% acceptance rate.
Throughout my career, I worked as an attending physician (medical oncologist) at the Saint Petersburg Clinical Hospital of Russian Academy of Sciences (2020-2022) combining patient care with participation in clinical trials and mentoring students and residents. In 2022 I successfully passed professional examination of European Society Medical Oncologists (EMSO) and received ESMO professional certificate.
In 2022-2023 I worked as a clinical analyst (Gastrointestinal branch) in biomedical company BostonGene having profound expertise in precision oncology and biomarkers testing.
Since 2023 I have been working as a research fellow in the Surgical Oncology Department of the Institute for Cancer Care at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. My primary focus lies in surgical and medical treatment of Peritoneal Surface Malignancies. I am working on projects dedicated to prognostic and predictive factors (clinical, molecular) in appendix, ovarian and colon cancer patients undergoing CRS/HIPEC. Apart from that I am currently involved in research revolving around medical education and professional development.
