Dr. Votanopoulos is Professor of surgery at Wake Forest University and founding Director of the Wake Forest Organoid Research Center (WFORCE). He completed his surgical residency at Baylor College of Medicine Houston, TX and Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY. He is a recognized expert and thought leader on peritoneal surface malignancies, with more than 220 publications, NIH funded research and numerous podium presentations and book chapters.
