Cary Schlick is a fellow in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She obtained her MD from Case Western Reserve University and then completed general surgery residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Therein, she complete a research fellowship at the Surgical Outcomes and Quality Improvement Center (SOQIC) under the mentorship of Karl Bilimoria and was a chief fellow in quality and patient safety at the Veteran's Administration under the mentorship of Dave Bentrem. She also earned an MS in Health Servies and Outcomes Research from Northwestern University during her professional development time. Her research is focused on evaluating and improving cancer care delivery utilizing quality improvement methodology. Cary's clinical focus is on HPB, gastric, and peritoneal malignancies.
