Paul Wong is a third year medical student at University of California, San Francisco who is interested in pursuing a career in hepatobiliary surgical oncology. He currently works in the lab of Dr. Ajay V. Maker at UCSF studying the role of LIGHT, also known as tumor necrosis factor superfamily member 14, in inducing T-cell infiltration in colorectal liver metastases. His additional research interests include pancreatic cystic neoplasms, outcomes in GI surgical oncology, and the utility of hepatic artery infusion pumps.
