Dr. Kamil Hanna is a fourth-year general surgery resident at Westchester Medical Center in New York. Dr. Hanna earned his medical degree at the American University of Beirut. He completed a research fellowship at the University of Arizona where he published extensively and developed extensive research in study design and methodology. Dr. Hanna has conducted numerous investigator-initiated studies examining immediate and post-discharge outcomes in patients with pancreatic and hepatic cancer. The author of more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, Dr. Hanna is a member of professional organizations such as Alpha Omega Alpha and the American College of Surgeons. Dr Hanna aspires to become a Complex General Surgical Oncologist with a particular interest in hepatobiliary and pancreatic minimally invasive interventions.
