Dr. Natalie Johnson is a surgical oncologist at City of Hope in Irvine, CA. She specializes in breast cancer, thyroid/parathyroid cancer and other diseases, and melanoma. Dr. Johnson received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York, completed her residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and fellowships in surgical oncology and breast surgery at City of Hope. Her research focuses on novel surgical approaches for the treatment of cancer, namely in the areas of tumor localization, intraoperative imaging guidance and navigation, margin assessment, and the administration of locoregional treatments. She also studies cancer disparities and associations between environmental factors and cancer.
