Dr. Jeremy Chang is a PGY4 General Surgery Resident at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He attended the University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate and master's studies (MS in Chemistry) and University of Tennessee Health Science Center for his doctorate (MD). He is currently completing a 2 year postdoctoral reserch fellowship in the lab of Dr. Ronald Weigel investigating novel transcriptional pathways in the regulation of breast cancer and melanoma oncogenesis. Dr. Chang has additional interests in utilizing artificial intelligence with clinical big data to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Chang has future aspirations of being an academic surgical oncologist.
