Resident
The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center
I am currently a PGY-3 general surgery research resident in Dr. Lacy McNally's lab with plans to continue my training in either complex general surgical oncology or hepatopancreaticobiliary fellowship on completion of my general surgery residency. Our lab focuses on the development of a novel imaging paradign using multispectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT) in both breast and pancreatic cancer. My work is specifically focused on developing, synthesizing and evaluating dye-conjugated peptides known as pH low insertion peptides (pHLIPs) to be used in this novel clinical imaging paradigm utilizing MSOT in pancreatic cancer.
