Jessica Steadman is currently a PGY-4 general surgery resident at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN. She grew up in France and attended medical school at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. She graduated in 2019 with honors. During her time in Nottingham, she also obtained a BMedSci for her research pertaining to staging of colon cancer in the FOXTROT trial. Prior to starting residency in July 2020, Jessica worked as a research fellow at Mayo Clinic. At the end of her PGY-1 year, she was awarded the Silver Retractor Award awarded for outstanding performance during their intern year. Her current career focus is in Surgical Oncology with a particular interest in hepatobiliary and gastric cancer.
