Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols for patients with gastric cancer who undergo curative-intent surgery has yielded mixed results in the literature. The goal of the session is to summarize current literature on ERAS before, during and after gastric surgery, develop tools to optimize post-operative care of patients who undergo gastric surgery, and identify best practices regarding peri-operative ERAS protocols for patients with gastric cancer undergoing gastric surgery with a focus on cost effective components
