Accreditation
The Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

Designation 
The Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) designates this live activity for a maximum of 19.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  

Target Audience 
Cancer surgeons and other clinicians providing care for patients with solid tumors.

Overall Educational Objectives 
Upon completion of the activity, learners should be able to: 

• Describe disparities in surgical oncology care and quality improvement opportunities
• Evaluate cases, including diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes in breast, colorectal/gastrointestinal, endocrine, hepato-pancreato-biliary, melanoma, sarcoma, and peritoneal surface malignancies
• Explain strategies to improve the quality and value of care for surgical oncology patients
• Identify the impact of neoadjuvant systemic therapy and radiation on surgical management of solid tumors
• Incorporate new treatment strategies for surgical oncology, including management and early detection of metastatic disease
